Project Description
For those who do not know, Stone Sisters Pizza Bar is an organic pizza restaurant in Oklahoma City, and the first of its kind. To meet the Grand Opening date of July 8, 2017, custom signage and graphics had to be created for the entire venture, from business cards, to custom table tops, to the exterior sign.
The two central messages the Sisters want to convey were Organic, and Family, among others. To meet these objectives we embarked on a months long design process while the site build out took place. This blog post includes a few of the design highlights.

Project Details
The restaurant location used to be an ice cream parlor in the 1940’s, located in an old Border Dairy plant on the historic Broadway Boulevard. The build out and much of the interior equipment and tables were donated by the building owner. One of the first challenges we faced was how to cover the dated wood laminated table tops with new, vibrant graphics that supported the owners’ vision. Since nothing existed to accomplish this specific task, we designed the new table tops ourselves. After testing various iterations, we opted to use custom shaped, opaque white polycarbonate panels with digitally printed custom graphics, and top them with durable laminate usually reserved for preserving floor vinyl graphics. The result produced one-of-a-kind durable table tops that conveyed the Sisters’ messages with humor, beauty and creative design. A few of the table tops are featured in the following images.

In theme with their saying “It’s Hip to be Healthy!” This nostalgic table top features both old and new “hip” sayings to add some coolness to the dining experience!

This is their Name table. By no means does it include all of their friends, which number in the thousands and growing every day. Nor does it include every one of their close friends, which no table top could possibly contain. However, the sisters were able to narrow it down to include some family members, life long friends, and even some pets!

This Now Open banner was designed with the same typeface taken from their logo and signage, and includes the Stone Sisters’ three favorite colors.
This banner helped announce their official Grand Opening!
These are business cards, promotional stickers and static clings the SSPB staff can give away to customers and friends. We also created the initial website landing page, email addresses, Yelp and Google My Business presence.
